EVOLVE is a handmade design brand led by me, a skilled seamstress and artist, specializing in unique, custom clothing pieces and handmade rugs. With a passion for creativity, EVOLVE embraces the meaning of its name—to constantly grow and adapt with every project. Whether through fashion, home decor, or other artistic ventures, the brand’s mission is to evolve in craftsmanship and style, offering customers truly one-of-a-kind creations. Each piece is a testament to the evolving journey of art and design.

Fashion design has always been my first love, and my journey began from a personal need. As a bigger girl, I often found that clothes in my size weren’t available or didn’t fit the way I wanted, so I started making my own. For the past eight years, I’ve been creating garments from scratch, revamping clothes, and curating fashion shows to showcase my vision. Designing clothes is my way of telling stories and expressing myself through originality and innovation.

In addition to fashion, my work as a rug maker has become the main focus of my creative practice. For the past five years, I have specialized in crafting custom tufted rugs for a diverse clientele, including celebrities and businesses. My designs range from portraits and logos to functional art pieces like keyboards, car mats, pillows, coasters, and more. I come up with new designs and ideas everyday. The endless possibilities within rug tufting inspire me to keeping my work fresh, and widely recognized.

Beyond fashion and rug-making, my creativity extends to graphic design, painting, creative direction, and interior design. Each of these mediums enriches my work, enabling me to approach projects with a broad, multidisciplinary perspective. My environment, being from Detroit, my family, nature, and diverse cultural influences inspire me daily, shaping the concepts and themes that drive my creations.
